Frame Platform 22-08-18

Frame Console 3.37.0

Added:

  • Instance Pool name is now shown in the VM Type column within Dashboard > Status > Servers page to make it easier for administrators to identify which specific Instance Pool a VM belongs to.

Fixed:

  • Issue where updates to Active Capacity scheduling were not properly applied until the same day of the following week in situations where the schedule was updated within 30 seconds of the next Active Capacity schedule start time.

  • Issue where changing settings within Dashboard > Settings > Domain Settings and then reverting settings back to the previous configuration registered as an unsaved change.

  • Issue where a “Dashboard is currently unavailable” error message may appear when scrolling through the list of available Accounts during a Sandbox clone operation.

  • Additional reliability fixes.

Frame Gateway 9.12.0

Fixed:

  • Issue with AD domain-joined Accounts where a Publish was marked as successful even if one or more instances were unable to be joined to the domain. This resulted in a subset of VMs that were unable to be brought to a Running state in order to host user sessions. With this fix, if any instances are unable to join the domain, the entire Publish will be correctly marked as failed and automatically rolled back.

  • Issue where, when cloning a Sandbox or Utility Server from a source Account to a destination Account, the VM disk size would automatically provision with the larger disk size. This fix ensures that the disk size of the source Account will always be retained. (Azure) If a VM fails to be provisioned, associated Disk and NIC resources are sometimes reserved for an extended period of time which could result in these resources not being properly deleted.

  • Issue when the Max Instances capacity (Dashboard > Capacity > Max Instances) for an Account is automatically reduced when a subset of the instances are unable to be brought to a Running state. This issue caused the Max Instances capacity limit to not revert back to the originally configured value during the next Publish.

  • Issue when initiating Backup All Volumes, if one or more volumes fails to backup, the entire operation would be marked as failed and successful backups would be deleted. With this fix, successful backups will be retained and customers will be notified of any backups that have failed.

  • Additional reliability fixes.

Frame Terminal 6.18.0

Added:

  • Improved bandwidth estimation for Bandwidth Indicator within the Frame Status Bar.

Fixed:

  • Issue with FRP8 when preferredIceCandidateProtocol=tcp is configured as an Advanced Terminal Argument, all UDP candidates are filtered out including the network path between the Streaming Gateway Appliance (SGA) and the Frame Workload VM. The argument should only filter out UDP candidates for the network path between the end-user device and the SGA.

  • Additional reliability fixes.
