Data Availability

note

Nutanix has established a Data Availability Policy for transaction data (Session, Usage, Disk Usage, Elasticity, User Activity, Session Reports, Audit Trail, Session Trail, Tasks, and Notifications) available from the Frame Console. Customers who need transaction data beyond the stated availability periods are advised either (a) to download the transaction data manually from Frame Console or (b) retrieve the data through an automated process using Frame Admin API on a monthly basis and save the transaction data in their own systems. Customers in need of transaction data older than what is available through Frame Console may make a one-time request to Frame Support for the archived historical data.

Frame Console

Added:

  • Users can now select one or more entities under Profile > Notification Center > Subscriptions to subscribe to their notifications.

  • Test Publish (Early Access) to allow Account Administrators to test the publishing of their Sandbox first before publishing the Sandbox (or using the test publish image) for their production pool workload VMs.

Fixed:

  • Profile > Notification Center > Subscriptions page does not load additional entities after the first page.

  • Additional reliability fixes.

Frame Gateway

Added:

  • Frame accounts created on public cloud infrastructure using Frame-managed networking, public networking option will have tcp/4503-4509 enabled for tcp-based FRP8. Frame accounts created on public cloud infrastructure using Frame-managed networking, private networking with Streaming Gateway Appliance (SGA) will have tcp/3478 enabled for tcp-based FRP8.

Fixed:

  • Improved robustness of Frame DR backup and restore functionality under different failure conditions.

  • Enhanced error handling for GCP API failures.

  • Additional reliability fixes.

Frame App 6.10.1

Fixed:

  • Full screen will only exit when the Escape key is held for 10 seconds or more.

  • For Frame App for Linux, generic USB devices can cause USB devices to lose connectivity.

Frame Terminal 6.11

Added:

  • Frame Remoting Protocol 8 (FRP8) supports TCP, in addition to UDP. tcp/3478 (between Frame Terminal and Streaming Gateway Appliance, if used) and tcp/4503-4509 (between Frame Terminal and workload VMs if SGA is not used) are required. Traffic between SGA and workload VMs continues to require udp/4503-4509.

Fixed:

  • USB HID devices were not redirected by Chrome browser.
